新曲の発売を記念して、メンバーたちは通天閣を訪れ、ビリケンさんに大ヒット祈願を行いました。7人の精鋭メンバーがビリケンさんの足の裏を撫でてヒットを祈願し、「飴ちゃん」をお供えしました。
Obachanは6年ぶりの新曲「OVERPOWER」で、ハードロック調の楽曲に挑戦しています。振り付けはバブリーダンスやアバンギャルディのプロデュースでも有名なakaneさんが担当し、目指すはビリオンセラー、紅白歌合戦への出場です。
新曲「OVERPOWER」はYouTubeで公式ミュージックビデオが公開中で、各種音楽ストリーミングサービスでも配信中です。3月29日と30日には東京のハンズ渋谷店で、4月6日には大阪の新世界ZAZA pocketsで新曲の発売を記念したワンマンライブが予定されています。
